Same Change

A couple of talented but unemployed software youths (post Y2K) were frustrated with the job scene and decided to something about it. It hit them that the best way out was to design and print currency notes.

After considerable manhours they evolved an authentic currency note. However when they tried to take a print, they were baffled to see a Rs 15 note coming out.

They tried a lot but the software glitch would not go. Print after print the currency was always the same...notes of Rs 15...

They devised a plan to dispose of these notes to the local ration and "kirana" shopkeeper who was very old and half blind. So they went to him and requested the shopkeeper to short change the Rs 15 notes.

The owner one-eyed the notes and asked if the notes were genuine.

"Oh yes, yes.. these have been just released by the Government"

Shaking his head in disbelief the shopkeeper went inside and after some time came out and handed over the entire amount, half in Rs 7 notes and the other half in Rs 8 notes.
