Hamara Bajaj . . .

The scene at the NASA rocket launch centre was that of utter despair. Billions of dollars had gone into the research and fabrication of this ultra modern rocket. Countdown after countdowns, the rocket just stood on the launch pad refusing to go up.

The engineers gave their best shots but could not get the rocket to lift off. Finally in utter desperation a universal appeal was made to send in suggestions with a promise of a big award for the correct one. Plenty of ideas came in but none worked.

Finally a Sardarji called up the NASA launch centre and instructed them the following; "Is your rocket straight and vertical"

"Yes Mr. Singh"

"Now tilt the rocket by 30 degrees from the vertical and after 10 seconds make it vertical again"

The procedure was adopted, after which Mr. Singh ordered firing of the rocket.

The countdown was initiated ... 7..6..5..4..3..2..1..lift off and zooom... up went the rocket.

There was thrill all around and immediately the NASA chief called up our Sardarji to understand the physics.

"O it is simple Sir. Have you ever started a Bajaj scooter ???"
